A Conversation with “Professor” Dave Farina About His Debate with Dr. James Tour at Rice University — 2 Comments

  1. I have been a reader of your site for a while now, but have never commented. I really appreciate the information you provide here, especially on the unbiblical doctrine of dispensationalism.

When I read this article on Dr. Tour, I was saddened but unsurprised by the animosity and disrespect he suffered. Any scientist who departs from the dogma of secular materialism is ruthlessly undermined and ridiculed. Evolutionists are unable to answer the inconsistencies and illogical positions of their faith, so they attack the messenger.

I hope Dr. Tour will not be discouraged in his walk with Christ, because he is planting seeds and the Holy Spirit will move hearts to listen.

It’s important to remember that God’s purposes are advanced through means we would not expect. Kim Riddlebarger made the point that the signs of Christ’s kingdom are an empty cross and an empty tomb. The church triumphs through suffering with Christ, not by taking dominion over the world and controlling its political institutions, economic resources, and cultural establishments. Short of Christ’s return, the church “wins” by “losing”. Christ’s power made perfect in weakness (2Cor. 2:19)

    • Tiffany, thank you for your comments. I think James Tour must have a very tender heart for lost people which is why he invited Dave Farina to debate with him. The only good fruit I see from this is Dave Farina exposed himself as being a closed minded, proud and arrogant ignoramus who is motivated only by the revenue he generates from YouTube. Maybe people siding with Evolution will see that and be inspired to listen more to what Dr. Tour has to say.
