The Popular but False Doctrine of the Rapture

I believe this picture may depict an accurate description of 1 Thessalonians 4. But will it happen before a great tribulation? That’s the subject of this article. This post is about comparing popular doctrines about what Christians and evangelicals call “the rapture” to what the Bible actually says. The rapture is also called, “The blessed hope.” What do teachers of the rapture mean by that? They mean that Jesus is … Continue reading →

The Danger of Belief in a Pre-Tribulation Rapture

If events go against what we believe the Bible says will happen, it’s not because the Bible is wrong, it means our interpretation of Bible prophecy was wrong.

Seven Events Evangelicals Incorrectly Believe Will be Fulfilled in the Endtime

Most evangelicals today are teaching false Endtime doctrines based on a false interpretation of Daniel 9:27. Futurism originated with a Jesuit priest Francesco Rivera in the 16th century.

Are The Church and Israel Two Different Peoples of God?

Fundamental to dispensationalism is the idea that God has two different peoples and He pursues his purposes for them in alternating dispensations. This is false!

John Hagee vs. the Bible

John Hagee vs. the Bible

Millions of Christians today, especially American Christians, have been deceived by false doctrines of dispensationalism formulated by John Nelson Darby in the 19th century that say God has two covenant peoples, the Church and Israel. Dispensationalism rejects the longstanding teaching that there is one church that consists of both old covenant saints and new covenant saints. Dispensationalism rejects the teaching that old covenant Israel was the church and that, in … Continue reading →

Preterism, Futurism, Historicism – Three Schools of Interpretation of Bible Prophecy

I consider this article a key resource to understand why and how eschatology as understood by the evangelical world today is all messed up! If you are waiting for the “rise of the Antichrist” I highly urge you to read this! It is not long. I copied it from a 10 page PDF file somebody either sent me or I found on the Internet. It quotes a lot from an … Continue reading →

Romans 11:26 “And so all Israel shall be saved” Explained in Context

I’m really excited to write this article! Until today I never fully understood Romans 11:26. I think I do now thanks to a good Covenant Theology preacher I listened to by the name of Ryan Rufus. But rather than share directly from him, I want to use the Bible and explain it directly from God’s Word. Romans 11:26 is often quoted by Christian Zionists as one reason for their support … Continue reading →

C.I. Scofield: Father of the Heresy of Christian Zionism

C.I. Scofield: Father of the Heresy of Christian Zionism

By Kevin A. Lehmann I got this from a PDF file somewhere on https://whtt.org/ It’s one of the most complete exposés of the origin of Christian Zionism that I’ve ever read. Does your church teach Christian Zionism and dual covenant theology—a separate plan of redemption for Jews and Gentiles? Is it truly Scriptural? Are we under a biblical mandate to support and stand with the modern day nation of Israel … Continue reading →

Daniel 11 Explained in the Light of History

Daniel 11 is all about prophecy of future events – future to the time of the prophet Daniel, not us – and one of the hardest passages in the Bible to understand unless you know the history behind it! It’s not about the rise of the Antichrist in an as-yet-unknown time in the future as many people think. Why do they think that? Because that’s what they were taught. And … Continue reading →

Thoughts about the American Pope

The first ever American to become Pope, Robert Francis Prevost, now Pope Leo XIV, reminded me of a quote from The Papacy And The Civil Power – Chapter I. which I posted on this website:

“Pope Gregory XVI., some years ago, uttered the saying, “Out of the Roman States, there is no country where I am pope, except the United States,”…Read More

In all the countries professedly Roman Catholic, the Church was restricted and hampered in what were asserted to be its rights, on account of its close alliance with despotism; while in this country (the USA), owing to the liberality of our institutions, it is “legally free,” and is left without the interference of the law, to the uninterrupted pursuit of its ecclesiastical policy. Manifestly, it is because the nations of Europe, hitherto Roman Catholic, have taken away from “the vicar of God” the power to subordinate the laws of the State to the canon laws of the Church, which have been constructed with sole reference to papal supremacy, that the hope of rebuilding this power in the United States has been excited.” (End of quote.)

Another point is the significance of the name Leo. It was Leo X who, in 1521, excommunicated Martin Luther. Does the name indicate a possible agenda by Robert Prevost to totally crush Protestantism in America? Could he do that when Americans have First Amendment protection that guarantees freedom of religion? Time will tell.

The signing of the Constitution of the Beast of Revelation 13?

signing of the EU constitution

On 29 October 2004, 53 senior political figures from the 25 member states of the European Union signed a treaty establishing a Constitution for Europe. The ceremony took place in the ornate surroundings of the Palazzo dei Conservatori in the heart of ancient Rome where the original treaty establishing the Common Market was signed 47 years previously. Behind them is a statue of Pope Leo X. I think it’s significant that area with Leo X in the background was chosen to sign the EU Constitution because Leo X was the Pope who in January 1521 excommunicated Martin Luther.
