The Divine Programme of The World’s History Chapter VII. The Christian Programme – Part IV.

James Japan avatarPosted on April 2, 2025 by James ArendtApril 3, 2025
The Divine Programme of The World’s History Chapter VII. The Christian Programme – Part IV.

The Apostle John represents this apostate Church as corrupting the nations of the earth, and its head as ruling over them. He represents the woman as sitting upon “many waters,” and the angel explains that the waters are “peoples and nations.” He represents her also as sitting on and upborne by the Roman beast—another expression of the same thing.

The Present Antichrist By Rev. Fred J. Peters – Part 3

When Daniel saw the power of the Antichrist under the symbol of the little horn, he saw that it would “wear out the saints,” a statement that cannot be understood on any short time interpretation. The wearing out was to be a process of long duration. It was to occupy nearly all the period of the Church’s existence on earth, and these prophecies cover more than a thousand years, and not some little, pigmean (very small, short) epoch that may happen in our days.

The Present Antichrist By Rev. Fred J. Peters

One of the crying needs of today is to popularize the prophetic teaching of our Great Reformers. The growth of Roman Catholicism in Protestant lands by immigration, and its bid for popular leadership, and the audacious canvass of Protestants all over our land by the priests, for money to build their churches and schools and sustain their propaganda, causes us to ask why Protestants have lost their Protest.

Jesuit Hollywood

The influence of the Jesuits over Hollywood during its so-called “Golden Age”. Evidence of the way in which the Roman Catholic institution pursues its never-ending objective of conquering the world, in particular what could be called the “Protestant world”, by seeking to harness and make use of the most powerful entertainment medium the world has ever known: the movie industry.

Two years in the Philippines

June 4th, 2025. Two years ago, June 4th, 2023, Tess and I moved from Guam to the Philippines. It’s been a wonderful two years living in the beautiful countryside near the sea in a small village. The Philippines is a poor country where half of the households don’t own a refrigerator, but food is abundant. Nobody goes hungry.

I finished today my project of creating  a PDF file of R. W. Thompson’s insightful book The Papacy And The Civil Power Click on the link to download it. It’s only 1.8 megabytes in size compared to the copy on archive.org which is 39 megabytes.

Pope Leo XIII On His Authority

See The Papacy Is The Antichrist – By Rev. J. A. Wylie

Thoughts about the American Pope

The first ever American to become Pope, Robert Francis Prevost, now Pope Leo XIV, reminded me of a quote from The Papacy And The Civil Power – Chapter I. which I posted on this website:

“Pope Gregory XVI., some years ago, uttered the saying, “Out of the Roman States, there is no country where I am pope, except the United States,”…Read More

In all the countries professedly Roman Catholic, the Church was restricted and hampered in what were asserted to be its rights, on account of its close alliance with despotism; while in this country (the USA), owing to the liberality of our institutions, it is “legally free,” and is left without the interference of the law, to the uninterrupted pursuit of its ecclesiastical policy. Manifestly, it is because the nations of Europe, hitherto Roman Catholic, have taken away from “the vicar of God” the power to subordinate the laws of the State to the canon laws of the Church, which have been constructed with sole reference to papal supremacy, that the hope of rebuilding this power in the United States has been excited.” (End of quote.)

Another point is the significance of the name Leo. It was Leo X who, in 1521, excommunicated Martin Luther. Does the name indicate a possible agenda by Robert Prevost to totally crush Protestantism in America? Could he do that when Americans have First Amendment protection that guarantees freedom of religion? Time will tell.

The signing of the Constitution of the Beast of Revelation 13?

signing of the EU constitution

On 29 October 2004, 53 senior political figures from the 25 member states of the European Union signed a treaty establishing a Constitution for Europe. The ceremony took place in the ornate surroundings of the Palazzo dei Conservatori in the heart of ancient Rome where the original treaty establishing the Common Market was signed 47 years previously. Behind them is a statue of Pope Leo X. I think it’s significant that area with Leo X in the background was chosen to sign the EU Constitution because Leo X was the Pope who in January 1521 excommunicated Martin Luther.
