The full settlement of our Lord’s Kingdom on the earth, even after His glorious appearing, may be—nay, must be—a work of some time. We are not told what interval will elapse between the destruction of His foes by His actual appearing and the firm establishment and organisation of His Kingdom, but for this it is reasonable to allow some space of time.
