Evangelicals today talk about the “rising of the Antichrist” in the Endtime while they are oblivious to the antichrists who abound in the world today. The early Protestants to a man all believed the office of the papacy, the Popes of Rome are that “man of sin — the son of perdition who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God (the Church), shewing himself that he is God.” – II Thess 2:3-4)
