God Is Not A Backstairs Politician

This article is from chapter 17 of “Out of the Labyrinth: The Conversion of a Roman Catholic Priest” by former Roman Catholic priest Leo Herbert Lehmann, first published in 1947 and made available online by The Lutheran Library Publishing Ministry LutheranLibrary.org. It’s good to share with Catholics. And if you were not raised a Catholic, it will give you insights about the Catholic mindset and why they pray to Mary … Continue reading →

What The Pope Refuses To Believe

No conversion of priest or layman from Roman Catholicism is complete without full acceptance that the Gospel of Jesus Christ reveals that through faith in Jesus Christ man is actually invested with the very righteousness of God.

Evangelical Movements Within The Church Of Rome

I was offline for a week to get a broken bone fixed. Now I’m back to work! This article is from chapter 31 of “Out of the Labyrinth: The Conversion of a Roman Catholic Priest” by former Roman Catholic priest Leo Herbert Lehmann, first published in 1947 and made available online by The Lutheran Library Publishing Ministry LutheranLibrary.org. John Flavel’s “Warning to an Ungodly Nation”

John Flavel (1627–1691) was an English Puritan Presbyterian minister and author. I first heard about him and his message from Christian J. Pinto’s Noise of Thunder Radio podcast. What is happening today in the country of my birth, the United States of America, that was not happening when I was a young boy in the 1950s? Extreme weather: heat, cold, snow, floods, increased destruction from tornadoes and hurricanes. A great … Continue reading →

Catholic Vs. Protestant Jesus

This is a transcription of a podcast by Christian J. Pinto given on Aug. 1, 2022, on Noise of Thunder Radio. Chris gives many interesting insights, things that I believe deepen our understanding of the spiritual warfare we are all experiencing. In this transcription, I added titles to identify the contents of the subsection. The titles also automatically generate a menu on the page. I hope you find them useful. … Continue reading →

Daniel 11 Explained in the Light of History

Daniel 11 is all about prophecy of future events – future to the time of the prophet Daniel, not us – and one of the hardest passages in the Bible to understand unless you know the history behind it! It’s not about the rise of the Antichrist in an as-yet-unknown time in the future as many people think. Why do they think that? Because that’s what they were taught. And … Continue reading →

Is the Rapture a Rescue from Persecution? The History Behind the Rapture Doctrine

It seems to me the first thing that pops up into a Christian’s mind today when he or she hears the word “rapture,” is a rescue from persecution and tribulation from the Antichrist. I see no such promise in the entire Bible. The scriptures tell me otherwise. 2 Timothy 3:12  Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. Daniel 7:21  I beheld, and the same … Continue reading →

666 – The Anti-Christ to Come?

666 – The Anti-Christ to Come?

n 1519 Martin Luther first called the Pope the Antichrist and later wrote to Pope Leo X and with boldness informed him that he, the Pope, was the Antichrist. The Historicist view was held by all the Protestant Reformers – that is, every major preacher of the gospel on the Protestant side of the Reformation. They all believed that the Papacy was the Antichrist.

The Meaning of 666 – the Number of the Beast: The New World Order’s Economic Control of the World

This article is about a revelation I had some time in the late 1980s about a possible interpretation of 666. I think many people who live in a Western culture know that the number 666 is some reference to the Devil. The last book of the New Testament of the Bible, the book of Revelation chapter 13 says it is the number of the Beast. This is the very last … Continue reading →

What is the “Water as a Flood after the Woman” from the Mouth of the Serpent of Revelation 12:15?

What is the “Water as a Flood after the Woman” from the Mouth of the Serpent of Revelation 12:15?

I believe the flood is a flood of lies. When I was young, I would never have believed that my government would ever lie to me. When I was 18, if someone even suggested the government is lying about anything, I wouldn’t have believed it. I would have thought the source was parroting some communists to cast doubt on the credibility of the government. I trusted what the authorities had … Continue reading →

A Possible Interpretation of the Iron and Clay of Daniel Chapter 2

I first posted this article in 2015. Today I showed it to my wife Tess, and she was surprised I never told her about it before! Good News for Catholics about Purgatory

The good news is you ain’t going there because Purgatory doesn’t exist! Purgatory is an invention of man. It’s a word not found anywhere in the Bible. Neither Jesus nor His Apostles spoke about it. The following quotes are from chapter 11 of “All Roads Lead to Rome?” by Michael de Semlyen, a British author. ‘The love of money is the root of all evil.’ (1 Timothy 6:10); and the … Continue reading →

“… and his deadly wound was healed” – Revelation 13:3

Millions cheer Pope John Paul II during his first visit to Poland as pontiff. For years I was very much into researching all the details I could learn about the Illuminati and all its subgroups, i.e. Freemasons, Bilderberg group, Council on Foreign Relations, Skull and Bones, etc, but now I think it’s better to try to see the overall big picture of Satan’s plan for world conquest from a Biblical … Continue reading →

Significance of the Number 13: Rebellion

Significance of the Number 13: Rebellion against God!

Did you know that the first time the number 13 is mentioned in the Bible, it is associated with rebellion? Twelve years they served Chedorlaomer, and in the thirteenth year they rebelled. Genesis 14:4 The description of Babylon the Great is ALL CAPS in the Bible (at least in the KJV), is exactly 13 words. Revelation 17:5  And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE … Continue reading →

Thoughts about the American Pope

The first ever American to become Pope, Robert Francis Prevost, now Pope Leo XIV, reminded me of a quote from The Papacy And The Civil Power – Chapter I. which I posted on this website:

“Pope Gregory XVI., some years ago, uttered the saying, “Out of the Roman States, there is no country where I am pope, except the United States,”…Read More

In all the countries professedly Roman Catholic, the Church was restricted and hampered in what were asserted to be its rights, on account of its close alliance with despotism; while in this country (the USA), owing to the liberality of our institutions, it is “legally free,” and is left without the interference of the law, to the uninterrupted pursuit of its ecclesiastical policy. Manifestly, it is because the nations of Europe, hitherto Roman Catholic, have taken away from “the vicar of God” the power to subordinate the laws of the State to the canon laws of the Church, which have been constructed with sole reference to papal supremacy, that the hope of rebuilding this power in the United States has been excited.” (End of quote.)

Another point is the significance of the name Leo. It was Leo X who, in 1521, excommunicated Martin Luther. Does the name indicate a possible agenda by Robert Prevost to totally crush Protestantism in America? Could he do that when Americans have First Amendment protection that guarantees freedom of religion? Time will tell.

The signing of the Constitution of the Beast of Revelation 13?

signing of the EU constitution

On 29 October 2004, 53 senior political figures from the 25 member states of the European Union signed a treaty establishing a Constitution for Europe. The ceremony took place in the ornate surroundings of the Palazzo dei Conservatori in the heart of ancient Rome where the original treaty establishing the Common Market was signed 47 years previously. Behind them is a statue of Pope Leo X. I think it’s significant that area with Leo X in the background was chosen to sign the EU Constitution because Leo X was the Pope who in January 1521 excommunicated Martin Luther.
